Partner parking is available for large, mid-size, and microbuses, so coach tours can arrive with confidence.

For Echizen Crab and Wakasa Fugu plans, cancellations incur a 100% charge from 5 days before due to ingredient sourcing.
Cancellations caused by transportation issues will be considered case by case.

Obata stands in Hama-machi, on the right bank of the Asuwa River in central Fukui, in the area stretching from Saiwai Bridge through Sakura Bridge to Kujukubashi Bridge.
Long ago it flourished as a hub of riverborne trade serving the castle town of Fukui.
After Fukui Castle was dismantled, from the mid-twentieth century the district transformed into a quarter of distinguished ryotei, still retaining the air of that era.
Obata now joins this neighborhood, and we will build a new chapter of its culture.

Ichijodani Asakura Family Historic Ruins
The Ichijodani Asakura Family Historic Ruins are a Sengoku-era site in Joto-no-Uchi, Fukui City.
Once flourishing as the Asakura clan's castle town, the site preserves the ruins of fortifications, residences, and townscapes from a period when the Asakura made it their stronghold.
Castle ruins, temples, samurai residences, and merchant houses have been reconstructed and excavated, offering a glimpse of the life and culture of the time.

Eiheiji Temple
Eiheiji in Fukui is known as the head temple of the Soto sect of Zen Buddhism, with over 770 years of history.
It is characterized by a solemn atmosphere where you can see the training monks devoting themselves to practice. In recent years it has attracted worldwide attention, drawing visitors from Japan and abroad.

Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum
Fukui is known as the “Dinosaur Kingdom” and is home to one of Japan's largest dinosaur museums.
More than 40 full dinosaur skeletons and reconstructions are on display, with something for visitors of all ages.
At the Dino-Park and the Outdoor Dinosaur Museum near the excavation site, you can even try hands-on fossil excavation.

Echizen Coast
The Echizen Coast is the grand shoreline of the Sea of Japan spreading along Fukui.
Sheer cliffs, weathered rock formations, and beautiful sandy beaches form its distinctive scenery. The rugged landscape along the coastline captivates visitors in every season, inviting strolls and swimming under gentle sunlight. It is a place full of charm, where you can taste the freshest seafood while feeling the breath of nature.

Yokokan Garden
The villa garden of the Matsudaira family, lords of the Fukui domain, this strolling pond garden was known in the Edo period as the “Gosensui Yashiki.” Within the garden stand a great natural stone bridge 5 m long and 0.9 m wide made of famous Echizen stone, along with scenic placement stones, standing stones, and a tsukubai water basin of Shakudani stone.
As a strolling pond garden centered on a vast, clear pond, it was widely known as one of the finest gardens representing the mid-Edo period.
